Campus Safety Information for Parents

We know that the safety of your student while they are at the University of Idaho is a priority for you. We want you to know that it’s a priority for us, too.

We know that the safety of your student while they are at the University of Idaho is a priority for you. We want you to know that it’s a priority for us, too.

We provide a number of programs and resources for our students to keep them safe and give them the skills to be proactive in protecting themselves. We also offer trainings for our faculty and staff to help them identify at-risk students and situations and respond appropriately.

Student safety is our priority. U of I was named one of the safest college campuses in America in 2018 by Alarms.org and one of America's 10 best college towns according to Livability.com. You can learn more about the specifics of U of I’s crime statistics by downloading the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report.

Click any of the boxes below to learn more about our on-campus safety programs. Do you have a concern about your student, or another person in the Vandal Family? Parents can fill out a CARE Report to share information, or contact the Dean of Students at 208-885-6757 or askjoe@cinta-korea.com
